Beşiktaş against Bayern Munich at Champions League in İstanbul

Beşiktaş will play against Bayern Munich in Vodafone Park on Wednesday, March 15th, second leg match of last 16 round.
Despite of strong start against Bayern Munich in first minutes red card to Domagoj Vida caused the lost of the game control for Beşiktaş and defeated with 5-0 score.

Beşiktaş will start without its center-backs. Beşiktaş’s coach Şenol Güneş revealed that neither Dukso Tosic nor Pepe are fit to play (Pepe suffered a broken toe in the teams’ first encounter), while Domagoj Vida will serve a suspension for the red card he saw that put his team down to ten men against Bayern in Munich.

Despite against all odds Beşiktaş will try to play their best game front of its fans. Beşiktaş are unbeaten in their last 12 European matches in Istanbul (W5 D7).

Since Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, and Sebastian Rudy all face suspensions if they see another yellow card, any of them is not expected to play. Also Arjen Robben was scratched from the squad yesterday, after suffering a pinched nerve.
